Arabic Gum
Explanation
Gum Arabic, also known as acacia gum, can be obtained from dried exudation of Acacia Senegal Willdenow or its family plants through desalination. It dissolves 100% in water and over 80% of it is fiber. Gum arabic is a complex mixture of glycoproteins and polysaccharides that contains galactose, rhamnose, and gluconic acid along with inorganic materials such as calcium, potassium and magnesium. Gum arabic is used as food functional material.
